Ultramag Geophysics maps a range of geologicalhazards for Australian and Indonesian coal mines tolower risk, raise safety standards and increase profits.
We map faults, dykes, sills, plugs, rolls, burnzones, paleo channels, stratigraphy and basement.
Founded in 1988, we are one of Australia oldest geophysical business. We offer magnetics, gravity and gamma ray spectrometer surveys, data processing and interpretation. We are innovative and market leaders in Potential Fields applied to coal exploration.
Ultramag undertakes airborne, ground, marine and borehole surveys. We also build custom geophysical systems and software.
We have a new state-of-the-art airborne methane detector deployed through Skyline Sensing Pty Ltd that works up to 200m from targets and can measure to 20 ppm.
Ultramag also works in mineral exploration, gas exploration, gas pipeline surveilance, archaeology, marine salvage and environmental sectors.
We are a family owned business with over 500 clients including Yancoal, Shenhua, BHP, Rio Tinto and Peabody.
